How relaxing would be to come back home, after a beach day, and enjoy the beautiful sunset in complete serenity in the Apulian countryside? Maybe even while drinking a spritz by the pool?
What can our hotel with a pool offer you?
Here at Tenuta La Baronessa, we have 2 pools. One for adults, and one for the kids. The larger pool is 12 meters by 25 meters and as a uniform depth of 1.20 meters. The smaller one is circular and a depth of 60 cm.
We don’t want to let just anyone have access to our facilities, only our guests. It’s just a little extra comfort that we reserve for our guests at this resort.
The pool area of our hotel, “Tenuta La Baronessa Resort” which is near Gallipoli, is open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. It’s also open to kids as long as they respect the simple rules such as no diving or yelling.
It’s equipped with gazebos, sun umbrellas, and deck chairs. Towels are not included but can be rented at the pool bar or at reception. Another important thing to mention is that it’s not necessary to wear a cap/bonnet as if you have long hair you can simply tie it back and go swimming.
Always available to our guests, we have an excellent snack bar that’s both for lunch and the later apéritif. The dishes reflect traditional Salentine cuisine and are rigorously prepared with ingredients directly from our farm.
On the snack bar menu you’ll find items coming from our garden (Eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini, mint), from our farm (Fresh eggs f, yoghurt, and cheese “primo sale” made with milk from our cows). And if they don’t come from us, they come from suppliers closely related to the territory. These suppliers’ items include the made in Salento craft beer, fresh mozzarella from our trusted cheesemaker, and our “friselle di orzo” (Barley Frise) from our Salentine baker.
We didn’t provide any form of entertainment because we believe that the relaxation area with the swimming pools much also preserve a piece of tranquillity.
